Specializing in cross stitch, we also carry supplies and charts for counted canvas, as well as supplies for hardanger and the traditional needlepointer so we believe we can meet all your stitching needs. We carry Gentle Arts Sampler threads, Weeks Dye Works, Classic Colorworks, Dinky Dyes, some Rainbow Gallery, Kreinik, Caron Collection, and of course DMC floss, pearl cottons and tapestry wool, Diamant and a variety of other specialty threads. We have a great selection of fabrics all cut to the size you need as well as Picture This Plus hand dyed fabrics and many pre-finished items like towels and baby items. Stitching stands from K’s Creations, Hearthside Craftworks and Rolaframe, craft lamps from Mighty Bright and Daylight and a large selection of embellishments from By Jupiter, Just Another Button Company, and Mill Hill help add the perfect touch to all your working projects.

The owners, Kathy and Neale Unruh are long time needleworkers. Kathy has attended numerous seminars and workshops over the years enabling her to offer the best in needlework assistance while Neale, our custom framer and a long time stitcher, understands the importance of framing your finished needlework properly while enhancing its beauty. From time to time we do have classes in different techniques along with Stitch Along Groups here in the shop. The best way to find out about them is to check our News, Tips & Updates section of the website. and sign up for our newsletter for regular updates about what is going on in the shop. We will also book private lessons for beginners as time permits in our schedule.

From September through May we have an ever changing list of classes in many areas of needlework and at all levels of expertise so whether you are a beginner or an advanced stitcher, there is always something to learn.
